Born in Gary, Indiana, he was first attracted to the BIG SCREEN during his 3rd year attending Elhurst College in Illinois. While running his own Record Label, Carlos made his action debut co-starring in ORIGINAL GANGSTAS which was filmed in Gary/Chicago. Carlos then began to take acting lessons at Act-One Studios located downtown Chicago while modeling for BODY & BODY swimwear. Being attracted to film and entertainment, Mr. Murray transferred his own visions into creative sparks of literature in which he currently has over 10 works-of-art completed ranging from Urbans, Sci-fi, to Dramas and Action. John’s bad decisions and his silly frolicking attitude are always getting him into misdemeanor type trouble. Most scholarship applications require a portfolio which should include:
A two or three page preface in which you introduce yourself and discuss how you perceive your writing. You are encouraged to use the preface to describe your writing experiences and provide background about the history and content of samples in your portfolio
A minimum of two writing samples. These may be poetry, prose (fiction or non-fiction), or dramatic scripts. You may submit academic essays, research papers, and compositions prepared for high school classes, but papers must be free of any teachers' comments.
The portfolio must be a typewritten manuscript, five to 20 pages in length (excluding preface), on 8.5 x 11" paper. All texts except poetry should be double spaced.

a living off of poetry is almost non-existant. There is little money to be made
